New Directions in Elementary Math Education Symposium
This invitational symposium will bring together 30 to 40 of the foremost teacher educators, scholars of mathematics education, and mathematicians to assess the state of the field, develop a focused research agenda for the next three to five years, and establish collaborations for future projects. Confirmed attendees include Deborah Ball, Robert Moses, and Hyman Bass. The goal of the panel, which will be held over lunch on the first day of the symposium, is to prompt innovative thinking and discussion around the future of elementary mathematics education and how best to equip teachers to meet it.
